Tree of Life offers a qualified professional counselling service to adults, young adults and teenagers using an eclectic/holistic approach which adjusts the therapy to the client not the client to the therapy.
The practice operates in Hereford, Ledbury and Leominster, Monday to Saturday.
Linda aims to reply to enquiries within 48hrs and see clients as soon as can be arranged between her and the client.
Linda is a trauma-informed therapist, a registered counsellor (BACP, ACC) and a senior practitioner of mentoring and coaching (EMCC). Currently working towards Complex Trauma Certification. With EMDR to follow.
Linda has a history in farming, early years education, youth and senior’s work, and a vision to see people who have lived through difficulty experience a greater level of fulfilment, fruitfulness and abundance in life.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Spiritual Formation (Waverley Abbey College, Middlesex University)
Post Graduate Certificate and Senior Practitioner Level Accreditation in Mentoring and Coaching (Waverley Abbey College, Middlesex University)
Foundation Degree in Person-Centred Counselling (Worcester University)
Mental Health First Aid Certificate (Mental Heath First Aid England)
Alongside her private practice Linda works for Herefordshire Mind in their Safe Haven Project as a support worker/coordinator, We Are Farming Minds as a counsellor and SANDs as a supervisor to befrienders. She also offers training in in personal growth and wellbeing to organisations wanting to support and enhance their staff and participants potential and productivity. From March 2024, Linda will provide a 'Writing for Healing' group. And a 'Thinking Space' which will include listening and discussion of life and the bigger picture.
Linda is an advocate for self compassion and care, enjoying wild swimming, writing, painting, walking, cooking and making jam. She also begins and ends her day with a quiet time rhythm of reading, contemplation and prayer, which then permeates other areas of life, relationships, work and community.
